Jurug Zoo : Need Your Support

Jurug Zoo is one of the tourist attractions in the Solo area that desperately need attention and support from all of you. Some time ago, we visited the Jurug Wildlife Park (Taman Satwa Taru Jurug) to simply unwind on holiday there. However, on arrival there, I felt sad to see the condition of the animals and cages that are less pleasant and as unkempt.

First, we will see the front of the zoo which houses the ticket and also the entrance of the Jurug zoo area it self. From the entrance, we continue the journey to the elephant enclosure. Incidentally when we visited had time to take photos right in front of the cage the elephant.

It was just a appears three elephants and a slightly different course than usual, the elephants were not out to entertain visitors. Ordinary every day off, the manager of the zoo Jurug provide an opportunity for visitors to ride an elephant and around around. But this time it seems not.

I took my girlfriend to take photos near the elephant enclosure by emphasizing the message board that reads "Jangan Buang Sampah di Kandang Gajah (Do not Dispose of Garbage at Elephant Cage)" with the intention that we can all conserve the environment.

Upon the satisfaction of seeing the long-nosed and voluptuous ass of elephant, we continued to the next zone.

In this zone we can find some kind of unique and beautiful birds, like peacocks, eagles, crows, owls, parrots, etc..

My girlfriend had to take one of the birds are simply gorgeous and looks very healthy is perched on a twig. It's just a bit stymied by the bird cage wire barrier.

If we look at their natural habitat, we think the size of bird cages for each species are too small so they are not free to fly.

The bottom of the cage in the form of grassy land is also not enough to reduce the comfort of these birds. In addition, the availability of food all the time as well as nutritional value is still lacking.

Perhaps because the budget for oprasional not mencukup and the least interest in visiting the zoo, making the manager was forced to implement oprasional potluck.
